On Saturday, August 21st Lil Marcus and I attended the Paint the Paws Festival for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Paint the Paws is a tradition to help kick off the football season where fans come out and paint paw prints on Bay Street that lead to the stadium. We live downtown and I thought it would be a good activity for Lil Marcus to try. We arrived on time at 8 am and we met two of the Jaguar cheerleaders.
At first Lil Marcus wasn't too interested in the cheerleaders, but then he wouldn't stop talking to them. He was suppose to be on the news....
But he was too busy talking to the cheerleader!!!
He hung out with her until she had to leave.
After she left, he did get some work done.
Breakfast was provided, so after we finished painting I had a bagel and Lil Marcus had a doughnut. We tried to wait for the mascot to come down, but we had a lot of things to do and I am sure we will get another chance to meet him.
