Library Preschool

Every Wednesday Lil Marcus and I walk around the corner to the public library for Toddler Preschool. The program is free and a lot of fun. The class starts at 11:00am with a song greeting each child by name, sung by the teacher, whose name I can not think of at the moment. After the song, the teacher announces the theme for the day, which usually has an alphabet to correspond. She reads a book related to theme, then she has the class do an activity where they can participate. Another story is read and by 11:30am she releases the group for free time for 10 minutes, and then the clean up song begins. One more story is read and then the "See ya, See ya" song begins as the kids are released at 11:45am to go next door for an art project. The Art projects are usually quick and easy and takes about 15 minutes. By noon Lil Marcus and I are searching for new books for him to read and then we are off for lunch, and home by 1:00pm so I can watch All My Children.
